In addition, corporate efforts toward SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) have attracted considerable attention. We will respond flexibly to these changes and carry out sustainable business activities.
Since our founding in 1978, we have taken on the challenge of a variety of businesses in line with changes in market needs. Currently, our businesses span a wide range of fields, including optical lenses, semiconductor-related products, Calorie Answer, agricultural products, and construction IoT products.
The optical lens business was also a triggering business for our founding, and we continue to receive designations from many customers, and the number of business partners is increasing year by year. Semiconductor-related businesses have also begun dealing with current customers for more than 35 years, providing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.
Calorie Answer is one of our leading products, developed in collaboration with the Aomori Prefecture Industrial Technology Center, enabling the world to measure calorie and nutritional content of foods with near-infrared rays, the first of its kind in the world. As health awareness rises, it is expected that more opportunities will be available for Calorie Answer to play active roles in the future.
IoT products for agricultural/construction are contributing to visualization of the site, and demand at the site is increasing year by year as digitization progresses. Going forward, in order to bring ourselves up as useful businesses for a sustainable society, we will continue to take on the challenge of creating new products and services, and our company members will work together to answer customers' requests and demands.
So far, we have faced a number of difficulties, and each time we have been blessed with people, so we have somehow overcome them. He strongly feels the reason why our company businesses have kept on working is because we were supported by our business partners, affiliates, and employees, in tough situations.
